3. Introducing Dorothy Dandridge (1999)
LA-based R&B
singer Wendi Williams tediously studied Dorothy “Angel Face”” Dandridge while preparing to provide all Dorothy Dandridge vocals for the film soundtrack.



4. Bessie (2015)
Queen Latifah sings Bessie “Empress of the Blues” Smith, and; proucers added vintage classics from Louis Armstrong, Fats Waller, etc…



5. Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom (2020)
